Isolation & Heterodox Opinions

Lately I've been reflecting on the isolation of having heterodox opinions in nearly every area of my life. Sometimes it's almost enough to make me miss the days when I outsourced my opinions to the woke crowd. At least then I knew I had legions of people with whom I knew I shared every opinion on every issue. Don't get me wrong, I prefer to do my own thinking and I do think it's immensely worth it. The isolation is sometimes disheartening but I do think it gives me space for personal growth and certainly it has allowed me to develop thicker skin and a stronger sense of self. The hivemind is not a good thing.
